Installation & Maintenance Pitfalls (Expert Tips)
- Confusing with Similar Models: It has a similar model T8312 – 7C, which can connect 7 expander chassis while T8312 – 7 can only connect 4. If the model is confused during procurement and installation, it will either lead to insufficient expansion capacity or cause waste of resources. It is necessary to confirm the actual expansion demand before selection.
- Ignoring Connector Locking: The module is equipped with locking connectors to improve connection reliability. If the connectors are not locked tightly during installation, loose connections may occur due to on – site vibration, resulting in signal interruption. After wiring, it is necessary to check and lock each connector.
- Neglecting Power Supply Matching: The module supports both 125V AC and 24V DC power inputs. If the power supply voltage is mismatched during connection, the module may be burned out. It is necessary to confirm the power supply parameters of the system in advance and select the corresponding power supply mode.
- Ignoring Routine Testing: Although the module has a self – diagnostic function, if routine testing is ignored during daily maintenance, potential faults can’t be found in time.
