Incorrect Power Supply Sizing

  • Field Rule:​ Size the power supply for at least 25W on the 24V rail. If the board resets randomly during grid fluctuations, your power supply is likely sagging under load.

Ignoring Serial Port Ground Isolation

Techs connect the RS-485 network without isolating the grounds. A ground loop forms between two different pieces of equipment, frying the UART transceivers on the board.
