Product Overview
The NI PCI-6514 is a high-performance industrial digital I/O interface designed for applications in the power industry, petrochemical, and general automation. It features eight banks of isolated channels, providing 32 sink/source digital input channels and 32 source digital output channels. This device is equipped with programmable power-up states, allowing users to configure initial output states using software to ensure safe operation when connected to industrial actuators. In case of computer or application faults, the NI PCI-6514 can switch to a configurable safe output state using digital I/O watchdogs, ensuring detection and safe recovery from fault conditions.
