The GE IC693CMM301 is a Genius Communications Module for Series 90-30 PLC systems. It provides automatic global data communications between a Series 90-30 PLC and up to seven additional devices on a Genius bus using token-passing peer-to-peer architecture.
This unit differs from standard I/O modules by supporting multi-PLC data sharing without central controllers. Rated for 32–140°F operating range with 256-bit data capacity. Supports up to 31 devices total on bus—verify with OEM datasheet.

❗ Cable Distance LimitsMaximum cable run depends on baud rate and cable type. At 153.6 kbps, maximum distance is 7500 ft with 100-ohm twisted-pair shielded cable. Exceeding limits causes intermittent COM failures.
